ABOUT

Not every threshold announces itself with a due date circled on the calendar. Some of it starts long before that — the moment you first let yourself believe it's real, or the night you can't sleep because your body's telling you something your mind hasn't caught up to yet. The Birth portal is for that whole arc. Not just the day itself, but everything that gathers around it.

Here's how I work with people in that space.

Services

Childbirth Education

I used to think education meant information — here's what happens, here's when, here's what to pack in the bag. What I've come to understand is that the facts are only half of it. The other half is helping you meet your own birth already steady, already oriented, so that when it arrives, none of it is a surprise happening to you.

We go through it together: the physical mechanics alongside what it means, medically and otherwise, at each stage. You leave knowing not just what's coming, but how to stay rooted inside of it.

Ceremony

Some arrivals ask for more than a hospital bag and a car seat. They ask to be marked — witnessed, gathered around, named as the beginning it is.

I help people build that: a blessing for the one on the way, a gathering that honors the parent stepping into this new threshold, a ritual for the early days once the baby's here and everyone's finding their footing. Small and quiet, or full of people you love — whatever shape the celebration wants to take.

1:1 Coaching

This is the long-form work — walking with someone across the full stretch of it, from the early unsteady months through the birth itself and into the after. Preparation, the ordeal itself, and the slow work of integration once the baby's here: that three-part shape shows up in nearly every transition I've walked alongside, and birth is no exception.

I won't tell you what your birth should look like. I will help you prepare for it honestly, stay steady inside it, and find your footing as a parent on the other side.

Maybe you're early — just starting to let this be real. Maybe you're deep in the third trimester and the ground feels like it's shifting daily. Maybe the baby's already here and you're standing in the golden, disoriented middle of it. Wherever you are, you don't have to have it figured out before you reach out.

I'd like to hear where you are. Whether that's a class to help you feel ready, a ceremony to mark what's arriving, or the longer work of coaching through the whole arc of it — we'll figure out the right doorway together.

Reach out. Tell me what's moving. We'll take it from there.
