A Lantern For the Crossing
I believe that the moments when life falls apart are often our greatest sources of wisdom — catalysts for becoming, not failures to overcome.
You might be in a season where the old version of you no longer fits, and what once made sense has begun to loosen or fall away.
What I know to be true about people at thresholds is that they don’t need to be fixed or rushed. They benefit from a warm, attuned presence — from being met, seen, and gently accompanied.
I’ve learned that life’s biggest transitions don’t ask to be solved. They ask to be witnessed.
My role is to hold the lantern while you find your own way across.
Hi, friend. I’m Finnley.
I’ve spent the last fifteen years working at the edges of life’s greatest mysteries. Much of my work has unfolded in spaces where first or last breaths take place — where something irrevocable is happening, and presence matters.
I’m most at home when someone is walking the labyrinthine path of a rite of passage. And there was a season when everything I thought I knew about my work changed. COVID completely unraveled me, reshaping my spirituality and the way I understand guidance itself.
After walking through my own season of undoing — my own dark night of the soul — I came to believe even more deeply in the power of a steady guide. It’s why I work the way I do now, with a clear eye for the darkness of the unknown and a commitment to staying the path.
My MethodWhen I work with someone, the first thing I protect is how they want to feel. Goals may change. Outcomes may shift. Some things may be out of our control. But your inner experience — as you define it — is something I hold with care throughout the process.
I don’t make decisions for you. I’ll offer perspective, reflection, and expertise when it’s welcome, but your choices are always your own. My role is not to direct your path, but to support you in listening to yourself more clearly.
People often tell me they feel fully at ease here — able to show up as they are, without masking or performing. There’s room for uncertainty, complexity, and honesty.
I care more about protecting your peace than accomplishing goals.
The Path Forward
If you’re here, something in you is already moving.
You don’t need a perfect plan or full certainty — just a willingness to take the next true step.
If it feels right to continue, I’d be honored to walk with you as you cross.
